Sri Lanka Commissions 3.5 MW Wilachchiya Biomass Power Project

On 31 October, Prasakti Energy launched its 3.5 MW biomass dendro power project in Wilachchiya, using woody biomass to generate renewable electricity. The project’s total investment cost was not disclosed. It creates opportunities in sustainable energy, biomass supply chains and environmental management.
